Biography
Dr. Amalya Igityan is a board-certified Brooklyn orthodontist with extensive experience helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She began her career earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Yerevan State Medical University in 2000. After practicing dentistry for several years, she advanced her training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating with awards in orthodontics.
Following graduation, Dr. Igityan completed both a one-year General Practice Residency and a three-year Orthodontic Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Today, she practices orthodontics in New York, providing care for children, teens, and adults. Her expertise includes braces, Invisalign®, and a wide range of orthodontic appliances designed to create lasting, natural-looking results.
