Biography
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Raitzel Bernstein is an orthodontist dedicated to delivering precise, patient-centered care.
She graduated from Touro University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Her academic excellence earned her induction into the National Dental Honor Society, which recognizes students who exemplify the highest standards of scholarship, ethics, and professionalism.
Following dental school, Dr. Bernstein completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she gained advanced training in emergency dentistry, pediatric care, and oral surgery. She then returned to Brooklyn to complete a three-year residency in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Maimonides Medical Center.
Dr. Bernstein is committed to clinical excellence and lifelong learning. She stays current with the latest advances in orthodontic biomechanics and clear aligner therapy.
