Our Services
Orthodontic Services We Provide
Our practice covers the full scope of orthodontic treatment, from routine alignment correction to complex cases involving impacted teeth.
Braces
correct misalignment, crowding, gaps, and bite problems using advanced bracket and archwire systems. Our practice offers Damon self-ligating brackets, Symetri porcelain brackets by Ormco for a less noticeable appearance, and Votion metal brackets for reliable, cost-effective treatment. Treatment lasts 12 to 24 months for most patients. “Brushing and cleaning very well should solve any yellowing issues,” Dr. Ingberman advises braces patients, “and professional cleaning is recommended at least once every six months.”
Retainers
are a critical part of any orthodontic outcome. “It is essential to wear retainers to prevent relapse and to allow bone and gum remodeling – the process where bone and gums adapt to the new positions of the teeth,” explains Dr. Ingberman. We offer removable clear retainers and permanent bonded retainers. “Immediately after treatment, clear removable retainers are worn full time, progressing to night time wear and eventually to wearing retainers 2 to 3 nights per week,” she advises. “Retainers should be brushed with toothbrush and toothpaste and kept in their protective case when outside the mouth.” If you’ve completed treatment elsewhere and need a replacement retainer, we can help.
Invisalign
provides a clear, removable way to straighten teeth for teens and adults. Our doctors are Invisalign Platinum Providers and can treat a wide range of cases, including patients with existing dental work. “Yes, Invisalign can be used if you have a crown,” confirms Dr. Ingberman. “The tooth with the crown will move just like any other tooth.” Invisalign can also create space for a future implant by shifting surrounding teeth. The average treatment cost is $5,600.
Impacted and Missing Teeth
require careful orthodontic planning. Impacted teeth – teeth that have failed to emerge properly – can cause crowding, cysts, or damage to adjacent teeth if left untreated. Our doctors use braces or aligners to guide impacted teeth into position or create the space needed for future restorative work.
